Youtube is a huge. Everyone, and quite literally their grandma is using it now. People love sharing good videos. Which may leave you thinking if your business can benefit from Youtube marketing? The answer is probably yes. Almost anybody can come up with something pertaining to their business to make a video about. Big box stores like Lowes and Home Depot have gone to making tutorial videos. Hoping those viewers will go to said store to pick up what was used in the video.
Here’s some ideas for marketing your business on Youtube!
Tutorial and how to videos
Know how to do something pertaining to your business? Print T-shirts? Make fishing lures? Marketing? Use a particular software that’s important to your niche? Make a video and show the world how. If your video is good you could be seen as an authority in that field. Which makes people more comfortable in purchasing your product or service.
Sponsoring a Youtuber
If you don’t like making your own videos try sponsoring somebody. If a current youtube content creator already has the target market that you want ask them for a partnership. You may be able to get them to mention you, ad links to your products, use your products in their video, ect. Offer them some cash, or free product in exchange for the exposure they can provide to you. Only work with the best in your niche – not everyone.
Target video searches with google
You can also target specific websites for keywords. Target Youtube or get direct advertising on videos that are interesting to your niche. They’ll have to sit still long enough to watch your ad to see the video they want to see. Be very specific though. Don’t waste your time on people who won’t really be interested. Only target videos for people searching for very specific things. Otherwise you’ll rack up a bill quickly, and with no conversions!
Make a trailer/teaser video
If you’re planning to launch a product you can make a trailer/teaser video to get your message across to people. Explain your product and its value or make a value portraying the feel of your service. Make people feel a certain way before they even click to your website. If it’s very interesting it could go viral, and get you lots of exposure for your new business. If you’re not capable of doing it yourself there’s plenty people who can do it for you for a price.
Talk about a subject of your business
If you’re in a service industry talk about how your service can benefit the viewer. In example, if you’re a chiropractor try talking about how getting an adjustment can help with pain. Tell people why they should visit you, and what you can do to help them, better them, ect.
