Luxury Services That Cost Less Than You Think!

Quick! Make a list of everything you want right now! A personal chef? A Driver? A maid? You may not need to be a millionare to have all of these things at your disposal! Believe it or not many ‘luxury services’ can be had for much cheaper than you’re lead to believe. Don’t believe me? Read on to see how you can get a maid, personal assistant, and more without a king’s ransom.

There’s lots of things I hate doing. Simple, mundane things, but I hate them. A lot. For example cleaning, and yard work. I just plain hate mowing the grass. Lots of people do this themselves, but I find my time better spent elsewhere. I pay about $20 every two weeks to get my yard mowed. One hundred percent worth it to me!

How to have a personal assistant for next to nothing!

This is partially from a funny post I found on Tim Ferriss’ blog. Which if you know anything about me you’ll know he’s one of my favorite people! (A long with Betty White, Charlie Sheen, and countless others, but I digress!) This post is all about how to get Visa to be your personal assistant for nothing.

The Visa Chase Freedom card has a concierge service. Which basically means a personal assistant. Give it a read it’s great material. You can also hire a personal assistant for amazingly cheap. Countless services both in the United States and other countries will do your bidding for a small fee. How small? That depends, but it can be anywhere from $5 to $10 an hour. Which depending on the task you can dictate how long it should take to complete. You only pay them while they are working for your specific projects.

These assistants can do everything from manage your website, respond to e-mails, act as your virtual secretary, and locate you a giant tub of nacho cheese should you desire! If you hire a local person they can even do your grocery shopping for you.

Hire A Maid Without Being A Millionaire

A maid! That’s the one rich person luxury I would love to have. Cleaning sucks – I can’t stand it. This goal may be much more attainable then you think it is! Try places like craigslist for maid services in your area. Many people will clean for about $10 an hour with a minimum of 2-3 hours. This can be weekly, bi-weekly, even monthly!

Have a maid come through and do all the chores you hate doing for about $30 a month. To put that in perspective if you go to Starbucks for your morning coffee you probably spend that much money in a week. You could be making your own coffee, and have a maid! Go figure that one eh?

Hire A Personal Chef Even If Your Last Name Isn’t Trump Or Gates

A personal chef? No way I can afford that! Tell that to Nate Green who decided he wanted a personal chef. For $130 a week each he and his friend a web designer hired an out of work cook to be their personal chef. This person did the grocery shopping, cooking, ect. and they picked up 10 healthy meals a week from him! Again there’s lots of people on craigslist who offer this service. Post your own ad asking for quotes from people! This guy got authentic and delicious Indian food prepared for him for $5 a meal! Other chefs offer prices from $10 -$16.25 per serving.

Many can accomodate to meet any budget. If you have an elderly family member or someone who is injured/ill and is having a hard time cooking for themselves this could be a great idea for them as well!

Vacation To Exotic Destinations Without Breaking The Bank

Travel is expensive. However, it doesn’t have to be. If you know some tricks, and the best places to go it can be much easier on the wallet. By far your biggest expense will be airfare, but you can get a substantial discount by being a procrastinator. You’re extremely unlikely to miss out on a flight this way. But it can be mega cheap when airlines are desperate to fill seats. You could end up saving 50% on your ticket.

This same rule applies to hotels. Unless you’re staying in an exclusive hotel you will be able to pick up a great deal by being the world’s biggest procrastinator. How does an apartment in Argentina for $250 a week sound?

Here’s some of the cheapest exotic vacation destinations right now!

Egypt ($20-60 a night)

Indonesia ($20 and under a night)

Mexico ($75 for a *nice* hotel)

Other great places include Honduras, Peru, and Thailand.

Hire A personal Chauffeur Without Being British Royalty

Dream of being driven around in a limo? You can have that for less than you think too! A limosense will run you $55 an hour or less. You can even strike a deal for multiple hours. Night on the town in a limo with all your friends? Probably less than $200. Take into account that price includes gas and it might be a downright steal. You always won’t need to call a cab to get home from the club. If a stretch limo isn’t your style there’s plenty people willing to ferry you around in an everyday vehicle too.
